COVID-19 Update

Ageless Thanet

As we are sure many of you will have seen, we are now in our third national lockdown. As a result, we are still unable to resume our face-to-face activities, and our Life Planner and Social Prescriber will continue to offer support over the telephone. If you need help accessing food or prescriptions, our colleagues at Connect Well East Kent will be more than happy to assist you. Please give them a call on 0300 302 0178.

If you find yourself with some spare time on your hands, we are still recruiting for volunteers who can help with collecting pre-ordered essential shopping and prescriptions for those who are vulnerable to Covid, those willing to host online activities, as well as Digital Buddies who can help older people get started online. To register your interest, please call Pam for a friendly chat on 07718 975725.

If you need to familiarise yourself with the latest restrictions, here is a link to the Government guidance on the national lockdown – https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home

All of these restrictions are taking their toll on all of us, it’s an incredibly difficult time we continue to face on a daily basis; but we remain hopeful that we will be able to return to some sort of normality this year.
